 I have been using this pump after I bought 1 a couple of months ago now to replace my old worn out pump and thought it about time to review it.               When the pump arrived the first thing I was impressed with was how well it had been packaged and the fact it came 98% assembled. After taking it out off the package I noticed how well it had been constructed, using quality components, and how good the washer set was.                               The first time I used it, it performed excellently with only a slight adjustment of the plunging washer required. I have used the pump at least twice a week on all different types of sand and mud, and it hasn't let me down yet, with only minimal cleaning required. the washer set is still looking like new.         So if you are looking for a pump. I highly recommend you buy this pump as you can trust it won't let you down and you won't be disappointed.

Hiya mate, Nick has prob already told you mate but, I gotta say the BNC was totally the bait for me last week , I had 8 fish on it up to a 53 lbs , the other bait they had was an out n out bream bait lol !

Recently bought this pump after searching the internet for a decent quality bait pump.
Having previously owned a alvey and a micks tackle (matchman) 22mm bait pump in the past and not being overly impressed with the quality I thought I'd give the sma pump ago.
First impressions when it arrived was very good, excellent quality and built to last. The washer is the best I've seen on a pump which very rarely needs adjusting and I like the fact you can have the tensioning nut sat slightly proud of the pump for easy adjustment.
I've slightly modified mine and added  duplon grips to the handles ;)
I've now been out with it 4 times going flat out for a good couple of hours a time and suffer no fatigue at all, its almost effortless unlike previous pumps I've paid for itself on the first outing!!
Buy with confidence you won't be disappointed.

Hi there just a quick word to say thanks for the quick supply of my Magicshine MJ-808. I had it in two days,  which was great and very much appreciated. Refunds can only be made for the total cost of the goods minus any coupon code or vouchers claimed; not the price of the item prior to these discounts!

Royal Mail Order Not Arrived?

SmaTackle always obtain ‘proof of posting’ for all packages.

For peace of mind you can request that your order be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (requires a signature on delivery). This option can be selected at the checkout.

SmaTackle accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for items lost or stolen in the post.  No case will be pursued by us unless recorded delivery is used.

In the unfortunate and rare event that you order has not arrived within 15 working days from date of dispatch, please contact us and we will help to assist you (where applicable)  with pursuing your claim with Royal Mail.  Please note ‘we do not’ file a lost item claim for you but provide all the necessary information for you to complete the claim form yourselves, and provide proof of postage if required.  Royal Mail / Post Office claims, damages or lost item complaint cannot be followed up until 15 working days have passed.

Undelivered Parcel

If a parcel is returned to us undelivered because of failure to collect or rearrange delivery with either the post office or courier, a re-delivery charge is payable to us before we will resend your package.

Refunds are only available within 7 working days after delivery / receipt of ordering and our return policy applies.

Damaged Parcel?

In the unfortunate event your parcel arrives damaged you should refuse delivery if the damage is obvious.  It will be returned to us and replaced.  If you have accepted the parcel please contact us immediately. 


If any item purchased from SmaTackle is found to be faulty on arrival, damaged in transit or substantially differing from the description given, then we will be pleased to arrange either a refund or a replacement of the product at the customers discretion.

Some images that we use to show a picture of the product are supplied by our suppliers and not of the actual product, they are for demonstration purpose only so from time to time products may vary slightly from those shown. If you require a photo of the specific product that will be sent out then please ask before purchase. If you are returning a product for this reason then only the product price will be refunded less postage and packaging costs.

All returns MUST be notified to SmaTackle via our "Contact Us" page within 7 working days since delivery / receipt of your order.  At which point we will give you details of how to return the goods to us.

If upon receipt the item is not found to be faulty then an extra postage charge will be requested before the product is returned to the customer and no refund will be issued.

All damaged goods will be required to be returned to us for inspection, we do not issue part refunds for damaged items that customers are willing to keep. We will replace damaged items once we have received the original damaged item back. You may be required to complete a form at some point by Royal Mail regarding this damage.

Goods ordered by mistake

In the event of a customer purchasing an item from SmaTackle by mistake and through no fault of ourselves, we will be pleased to refund the item provided that the original item is returned to us in an unused and as new condition within 7 working days of delivery / receipt of your order.
However, please note that for goods returned under these circumstances, return carriage costs are the responsibility of the customer. We will also retain the postage and packaging charged at the point of order plus a 15% handling charge if the order is outside of the 7 working days since delivery (cooling off) period.

Some of our items are only available for special order or made to order and are therefore non-returnable unless faulty or damaged on arrival or receipt of the goods.

Please note this does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
